A Magna man who suffered electrical burns and shock was in fair condition Friday at LDS Hospital, a nursing supervisor said.

Clyde Grende, 29, 8670 Edith Dr. (3235 South), came in contact, via crane cable, with 7,200 volts of electricity, police Lt. Norm Thompson said.Grende was working on the Fourth South viaduct at about Fifth West on Tuesday and was helping a crane operator steady a load of concrete slabs. The crane struck a power line, and Grende's right arm and right foot were burned.
