Meg Ryan, star of the highly successful "When Harry Met Sally," has dropped out of the cast of "Housesitter," for which she was signed to star with Steve Martin.

"Artistic differences," the usual reason given for such departures, was cited for Ryan's departure."Housesitter" deals with a woman who is presumed to be the wife of a Boston architect (Martin) whose house she "borrows." On the architect's return, they keep up the charade.
