A 14-year-old Nibley boy died early Tuesday at Primary Children's Medical Center from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle accident on Hollow Road off U-165 Monday night.
Dead:Brock Swenson, 14, Nibley, Cache County.
Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Lee Pyper said the Swenson youth died of severe head injuries at the Salt Lake City hospital at 1:30 a.m.
Swenson was driving a four-wheeler north at about 8:40 p.m. when he collided with a southbound semitrailer truck driven by Mark J. Faulkner, 27, of Gooding, Idaho.
Pyper said both Swenson and a passenger, Justin Leishman, 13, also of Nibley, were thrown from the vehicle. Swenson was flown to the Salt Lake hospital and Leishman was taken to Logan Regional Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition Tuesday afternoon.
