Heidi Singer Swapp, daughter of polygamist Vickie Singer, was in a Salt Lake hospital Tuesday after a horse fell on her.

Singer was thrown from the horse about 8:30 p.m. Saturday after attempting to "show it who's boss," said Deputy Tom Coleman, Summit County sheriff's office.Suffering a fractured ankle, Singer was taken to Wasatch County Regional Hospital in Heber City but was later transferred to St. Mark's Hospital because of the seriousness of the fracture, which will require surgery.

Singer is a wife of Addam Swapp and a sister of John Timothy Singer, both of whom were recently convicted of federal firearms and explosives violations and who are now facing state murder charges in the death of state corrections Lt. Fred House.
