A fashion-conscious bandit stole a small amount of cash Wednesday night from a Salt Lake County taco stand.

The bandit, wearing a red-and-white bandana and a matching baseball cap, walked into Taco Time, 4631 S. Redwood Road, about 9 p.m., pointed a handgun at a clerk and took cash from the register, said sheriff's Detective Tube Horiuchi.Witnesses described the bandit as about 6 feet tall, about 170 pounds, with shoulder-length hair.

"He seems to be the same guy that's been going around robbing a lot of places," said Horiuchi, referring to a number of laundromat and convenience store robberies recently.
