Paul B. Fjeldsted has been named the first recipient of the Parley E. Peterson Scholarship Fund for study at Harvard University.
A 1986 graduate of Utah State University, Fjeldsted has recently left a position as an analyst in the chemicals department of Citibank's World Corporate Group to move to Boston.Feldsted is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Fjeldsted of Logan.
He is married to the former Patricia Hilgenberg, also a 1986 USU graduate.
Parley Peterson taught business at Utah State from 1911 to 1945. One of his former students, Morris H. Wright, a 1935 Utah State graduate, funded an endowment in Peterson's name. It is for a USU graduate going to Harvard's Graduate School of Business.
