Jack B. Parsons of Ogden is the apparent low bidder for a $200,000 project to place a new coat of pavement of U-232 in Davis County. The project runs from the junction of U-126 at North Layton to the junction of U-193 at the south gate of Hill Air Force Base.

A seal coat will be placed over the pavement to help seal it , inhibit air and moisture deterioration and provide a good, skid-resistant driving surface. It is considered a relatively inexpensive form of highway maintenance and helps avoid more extensive highway resurfacing.

The project will be started next spring.
