Two Salt Lake men were still hospitalized Saturday following separate stabbing incidents in two downtown area parks Thursday night.Salavador Guzman, 35, 754 E. 600 South, was taken to Holy Cross Hospital by a friend who found him in Liberty Park about 6:30 Thursday night. Guzman was stabbed four times in the face, chest and abdomen, according to police reports.

Police have been unable to talk to Guzman and have no leads in the case, S.L. Police Lt. "Duffy" Diamond said.

Ronald Zieu, 30, a transient, was stabbed once in the abdomen when he and another man tried to prevent two men from assaulting a woman in Pioneer Park late Thursday afternoon, according to police reports.

Zieu provided police with a description of his assailant, but no arrest has been made, Diamond said.

Both men were listed in good condition Saturday afternoon at Holy Cross Hospital, a staff nurse said.
