The president of Utah Valley Community College has instituted an open-door policy for faculty, staff and students.

"One of the keys to effective administration is open communication," said President Kerry D. Romesburg. "If I am to be successful as president of Utah Valley Community College, it will depend largely upon my ability to deal honestly and openly with all members of our college community."Romesburg said he plans to keep specific times open for meeting with students, faculty and staff to discuss their concerns, plans, suggestions and criticisms. To schedule time with the president, people should call the president's administrative assistant to arrange an appointment.

Romesburg also is instituting department visits and a President's Forum. Department visits will be conducted weekly throughout the year. These visits are an opportunity for the department to discuss departmental needs. The President's Forum is an opportunity for the President and his staff to address concerns in an open forum.
