The Educational Institute of the American Hotel and Motel Association has formed a chapter in Salt Lake City that is affiliated with the Bryman School and will have an advisory board consisting of hospitality executives from the area.

Tom Stokes, program director for the school and chapter president, said that through the chapter, the institute offers its hospitality courses to hotel, motel and restaurant employees to further their careers and strengthen the industry through training.Other chapter officers are Pat Kohn, general manager of Aircoa Comfort Inn, vice president of education; Thomas Ehrlich, food and beverage manager of Aircoa Comfort Inn, treasurer; David Nelson, general manager of University Park Hotel, Klaus Kelterborn, managing director of Little America Hotel, Jerry Mike, University Park Hotel, and David Webster, resident manager, Marriott Hotel, all advisory council members.
