Child care will be the subject of the first Providers for Providers Technical Assistance Conference Saturday, June 8, at the College of Eastern Utah.
The conference will be sponsored by CEU and Careskool Consulting from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Deadline for registration is May 28.Keynote speaker Diane Yancey, state child care specialist, will discuss the value of quality child care and its effects on our future.
Breakout sessions and workshops will cover such topics as: voicing concerns on child care issues and needs of providers, working with parents, developing positive self-esteem in children, make and take workshop, safety concerns when caring for children, professional associations for the child care professional, curriculum planning, resources and activities, and child/infant CPR training.
