The Utah Governor's Council for People with Disabilities is accepting proposals for two grants designed to educate public employees to improve the manner in which they provide services to those with disabilities.
The Service with Dignity Grant, a maximum of $30,000, will train state workers in an effort to increase their understanding of delivery services needed for people with disabilities.The second grant, $10,000, will be used to develop educational material for law enforcement officers. The grants are federally funded. The deadline for filing a proposal is May 29, 1991. For more information, call 538-4184.
