Members of the Utah County American Party need to be valiant and vigilant in efforts to return the United States to principles espoused by the Founding Fathers and embodied in the Constitution, according to the party's state leader.
Dave Wilson, state chairman, met with delegates at the party's county convention Tuesday evening at the Orem City Center. During the convention, delegates elected new officers for 1991.Officers are: John Paulson, county chairman; Ruth Christensen, county vice chairwoman; Elaine Davies, secretary; and Florence Bale, treasurer. Karen Edmonds will serve as county executive director.
Talk of a new world order "threatens dissolution of our country as we know it," Wilson said.
The American Party provides the direction needed to return the United States to the "eternal principles" the country was built on, he said.
