Each grade has been taught different aspects of art, with the concepts then displayed with the artwork for parents and members of the community to see. Many entertainers from the community performed on the grounds of the school in the evening, with entertainers including dancers, musicians, singing groups, clowns and a children's performing group.
On Tuesday, professional artists from the area demonstrated several different art mediums to the students. The goal was to have every child get a hands-on experience, said PTA president Karla Hansen.
