A former Weber County court bailiff will be sentenced June 20 after he entered a plea of no contest to a charge that he sexually abused a juvenile.
Marc Lindshield entered his plea to the second-degree felony charge of forcible sexual abuse Thursday before 2nd District Judge Ronald O. Hyde. Lindshield could be sentenced to one to 15 years in prison.The 29-year-old Ogden man is accused of sexually abusing a 17-year-old boy on July 26, 1990. The assault was reported in April.
Lindshield had served as a Weber County deputy sheriff and bailiff for about six months before he was suspended.
