The Utah Valley Community College Auto Expo's Antique Fashion show will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 1, at the college. The fashion show committee is looking for clothing to be presented in the event.
Beth Black, chairwoman, said she is trying to locate clothing from the past five decades. "Our goal is to have antique or heirloom clothing representative of the 1920s all the way to the 1970s. We are also hoping to find matching accessories including shoes, purses and jewelry," she said."The event will also include up-to-date styles featuring the latest in summer fashions sponsored by Seifert's in the University Mall.
The public is invited to attend. Admission is free. People who have clothing they would like shown or would like to help should call Ann Richardson at 222-8000, ext. 630. For more information on the Auto Expo, call the Utah County Travel Council at 370-8390.
