The Salt Lake County Council for the Aging will hold a public hearing to get comments on the Area Agency on Aging Two-Year Plan: '92-94.

The plan prioritizes services and sets forth program objectives for the year beginning July 1, 1991, and ending June 30, 1992. It also lists activities to be undertaken in support of community-based long-term-care services, programs for Alzheimer's disease victims, evaluation activities, homemaker/personal care services, information on higher education, mental health services, the older Indian population, ombudsman services, program development and coordination, providing assistance with benefits, service needs of low-income minority people and targeting services to those with the greatest social and economic needs.The hearing will be Monday, May 20, from 11 a.m. to noon in the Harman Home Community Center, 4090 S. 3600 West, West Valley City.

Public review and written comments are also invited. Anyone who would like a summary of the proposed plan can get it from Salt Lake County Aging Services, 2001 S. State St., #S1500B, Salt Lake City, Utah 84190-2300. Written comments from the public will be accepted until Friday, May 24.
