BYU freshman runner Dorota Buczkowska, Lublin, Poland, did double track duty this weekend in California.

Before winning the WAC 1500m run Saturday afternoon in San Diego in conference-record time of 4:22.07, she signed in at the Santa Monica Distance Classic Friday night where she qualified for the NCAA championships with a clocking of 4:15.55."Dorota's time in Santa Monica is second-best on BYU's all-time list," said coach Patrick Shane. "She's just behind Julie Jenkins's mark of 4:15.33 set four years ago."
