Hector Camacho regained the World Boxing Organization junior welterweight title from Greg Haugen on Saturday, winning a controversial split decision.

Camacho, who has held the World Boxing Council titles at 130 and 135 pounds, lost the WBO junior lightweight belt to Haugen on Feb. 23 in Las Vegas after the referee deducted a point from Camacho in the 12th round. In a near instant replay, Camacho thought he was going to lose again when he was penalized a point for hitting Haugen after the bell in the 11th round. Camacho stormed from the ring before the decision was announced, but quickly returned after learning he had won, avenging his only professional loss.
