Gump & Ayers Real Estate Inc. reports under-contract sales volume of $30.7 million for the first quarter 1991, up 40 percent over the $21.9 million reported in the same period last year.

The company also reported a 26 percent increase in closed sales, from $15.1 million in the first three months of 1990 to $19.1 million in the first quarter of this year.The Salt Lake Board of Realtors reported 1991 first quarter sales volume of $126.6 million, affording Gump & Ayers nearly 16 percent of market share.

Transactions in G&A's Salt Lake office totaled 201, up from 167 in the first quarter last year. Year-to-date listings totalled 387 in 1991 compared to 319 in the same period last year.

The company said its under-contract volume of all Gump & Ayers office totals $64 million, up 8 percent over the $59.2 million in the period a year earlier. Total sales for the combined offices were down from 407 in 1990 to 358 this year, but total listings were up 8 percent from 711 to 769.

At a recent Gump & Ayers sales meeting, Debra Sjoblom was named top sales agent in the Salt Lake G&A office. She and Jonny Totten, Sandra Bailess, Kevin Cameron, Kevin Jensen, Shirley Tegan, Rick Widdows, Leslie Coburn, Scott Marsh and Richard Dudley were honored as the top 10 Gump & Ayers agents.
