The Olympus Care Center will likely remain closed through Monday evening while fire and sheriff's officers investigate a string of arsons, County Fire Chief Larry Hinman said Friday.

Hinman categorized the building as having an imminent fire danger after the fourth fire in 48 hours broke out Thursday morning. Residents were moved temporarily to other care facilities where they will remain while the Olympus Care Center, 950 E. 3300 South, remains closed. No new fires have been reported at facilities Olympus residents were moved to, Hinman said. But the 11-story Wasatch Manor, which has mostly elderly tenants, was evacuated for several hours while Salt Lake City firefighters battled a smoky fire early Friday.
