The Rev. J. Terrence Fitzgerald, pastor of Our Lady of the Assumption parish in Park City, has been named the new principal-president of Judge Memorial Catholic High School, effective June 26.

A native of Salt Lake City, he graduated from Judge Memorial and was ordained a Catholic priest in 1962. He received bachelor's and master's of divinity degrees from Mount Angel Seminary in Oregon, and later served as the school's president-rector. Locally, he has served as director of Catholic Community Services and as Diocesan superintendent of schools and director of religious education, as well as in several churches and on public sector boards and committees.
