Motorcycle riders who participate in the Provo Fire Department's bike show and road rally Saturday, May 18, need to remember one thing - wear a helmet.
The idea behind the event is to encourage helmet use.An open house at Provo Fire Station No. 1, 80 S. 300 West, featuring unusual, vintage, classic, custom, racing and hill-climber motorcycles is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The public is invited to bring bikes for display beginning at 8 a.m.
At noon, riders will travel in a convoy around Utah Lake and back to the station. The fire department insists that all participants wear helmets.
