A Salt Lake man injured in a Nevada automobile accident Thursday remained in serious but stable condition at the University Medical Center Monday.

Anthony Troy Rohovit, 24, received chest and head injuries, facial lacerations and leg fractures in the head-on collision 60 miles west of Ely. The accident claimed the life of Arthur L. Fairclough, 18, a passenger in the Rohovit vehicle.Police say the accident occurred when Rohovit tried to pass a semitrailer truck and struck a pickup truck traveling in the opposite direction on Nylia Road in Nye County.
