The Utah Department of Transportation is accepting applications from groups interested in participating in the Adopt-A-Highway litter pickup program.

Through the Adopt-A-Highway program, a group agrees to pick up litter on a designated section of state highway several times a year for a two-year period. As part of the program, UDOT will place highway signs on the "adopted" section crediting the group for their litter pickup activities.Groups interested in obtaining additional information and applications for the Adopt-A-Highway program can do so by contacting James Johnston, Adopt-A-Highway coordinator for the Utah Department of Transportation.
