Harry V. Geary, Jr., 54, died May 14, 1991 in Murray, Utah.
Born January 15, 1937 in New Bedford, Massachusetts, son of Harry V., Sr. and Violet Gifford Geary. Married Shirley Haworth, August 2, 1958 in New Bedford, Massachusetts. He was a resident of Utah for 23 years, and a member of Christ United Methodist Church. As an engineer and partner of the H.E. Cramer Co., Inc., he was committed to the pursuit of excellence in his professional endeavors.He was a devoted adult leader of Boy Scout Troop #340, Cottonwood Presbyterian Church. His many friendships, formed while camping with both youth and adults, brought great joy to his life. He shared his many talents supporting the Judge Memorial High School Band. He will be deeply missed by his loved ones and associates.
Survived by wife, Shirley; daughter, Sandra and son, David, all of Salt Lake City; mother, Violet, Fairhaven, Massachusetts; brother, Robert, Harwich, Massachusetts; sister, Ruth Puryear, Roxboro, North Carolina; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 12 noon Friday, May 17th, at Evans & Early Mortuary, 574 East 100 South, where friends may call Thursday 7-9 p.m. and one-half hour prior to services Friday. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions may be made to the U. of U Library Student Book Fund. Interment: Wasatch Lawn. Funeral Directors: Evans & Early.
