The Park City Handicapped Sports Association and Valley Bank will team up to prove Utah's a "swinging place" with a Swing into Summer golf and tennis tournament to benefit the association.

The event, slated for June 21 and 22 in Park City, will pair up a celebrity, a disabled participant and two others in a scramble format golf tournament and/or a round-robin tennis tournament. Corporate team sponsors have the option of filling their team's positions, or the sports association will fill the teams. The tournament is the primary fund-raiser for the association each year, and the proceeds are used to provide low-cost sports and recreational programs for physically and mentally disabled Utahns of all ages.

Each participant can compete in both the tennis and golf tournaments, attend the draw party and dinner and receive hospitality gifts and prizes.

Funds will expand programs for people with disabilities. Sporting activities include basketball, skiing, horseback riding, swimming, water skiing and rafting. For more information, call 649-3991.
