Delia Lareda Christensen Olsen, 81, died Sunday, May 12, 1991 in the South Davis Community Hospital in Bountiful.

She was born on June 25, 1909 in Emery, Utah, the daughter of Joseph A. and Hanah J. Peacock Christensen. She married Dewey LaMar Olsen on June 4, 1929 in Castle Dale, Utah. He died on July 20, 1985. She attended schools in Emery and Ferron. She worked as a live-in care taker, and also for the Postal Service in Emery. She worked for the American Red Cross. She was a member and past president of Veterans of Foreign Wars Women's Auxiliary.She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, served in the Relief Society, and on the flower committee for many years. She enjoyed needle work and crocheting. She has lived in Emery, Nevada, Spanish Fork, Orem and Salt Lake City for the past four years.

Survivors include one son and four daughters, Lois Jensen, Salt Lake; Mrs. Birdell (Elva) Sorensen, Lindon; Afton D. Olsen, West Jordan; Mrs. Byron (Emily) Millword, Grantsville; Joan Wilson, Salt Lake; 29 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; three sisters and three brothers, Ellis Jay Christiansen, Tooele; LaVar Christiansen, Spanish Fork; Wayne Christiansen, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Fred (Inez) Forbes, Alpine; Genieve Fotheringham, American Fork; Daris Mangum, Emery. She was preceded in death by one son, Ruel L. Olsen, three sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will be Thursday 12 noon in the Walker Mortuary Chapel, 187 South Main, Spanish Fork. Friends may call at the Mortuary on Wednesday evening from 7-8 p.m. or Thursday one hour prior to services. Burial

will be in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
