Clarence Roy Anderson, 87, of Richfield, died May 12, 1991 in Salt Lake City.
Born August 15, 1903, to Julius Peter and Marie Jacobson Anderson, in Elsinore, Utah. Married Beryl Callaway, January 15, 1925 in Richfield, Utah. Clarence was general foreman of the raw materials area for Kaiser Steel Co. in Fontana, California from 1942-47. He supervised the open hearth blast furnace and the pig machine area of operations. When the family returned to Richfield, Utah, he worked for Telluride Power Co. and then on maintenance at Georgia Pacific Gypsum in Sigurd, Utah, until his retirement.Survived by his wife; daughter, Jackie, Salt Lake City; daughter-in-law, Vickie D. Anderson; grandson, Cody Jenne Anderson, both of Sandy. Clarence was the last of his family line. Preceded in death by seven brothers and a sister, Aaron, Leonard, Martin, Floyd, Ernest, Clayton, Lester, and Geneva.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 16, 1 p.m., Richfield City Cemetery, with President Bert Christensen, a member of the Richfield Utah LDS Stake, officiating. Friends may call at the Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary in Richfield, Thursday afternoon from 12-12:45 p.m. Burial: Richfield City Cemetery. A lunchion for family and close friends will be provided, following the services, in the Richfield 7th Ward Cultural Hall, 159 North 400 West, by the 7th Ward Relief Society sisters.
