Kurt Max Hunger, 86, died May 11, 1991.
Born July 10, 1904 in Freiberg, Germany to Hector H. and Helena Mauerman Hunger. Came to America in 1927. He was an accountant for Royal Baking Co., Grand Central Stores, Pet Milk Co., and Scheibner's Health Foods. Active member LDS Church, he filled a mission in Germany, served for many years as financial clerk of Poplar Grove Ward. On high council of Pioneer Stake, and various church positions.Survivors: sister-in-law, Olive K. Hunger, Salt Lake City; niece, Mrs. Jerry (Evelyn) Thompson, Bountiful; nephews, Hans O. Hunger, Salt Lake City; Daryl Hunger; Paul Hunger, Salt Lake City; Ron Hauser, California; David Hunger, Arizona; Henry Burkhardt, Germany. Preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, 11 a.m., Wasatch Lawn Cemetery, 3401 South Highland Drive. Friends may call Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at the Neil O'Donnell & Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 South, and also Thursday, 9:30-10:30 a.m.
