Police say they have suspects in the slaying of a man whose body was discovered in a building at the Helper railroad yards.

A man walking his dog found the body about 8:20 a.m. Sunday in an abandoned building occasionally used for shelter by transients.Police Chief Jim Robinson said the victim, who did not have identification, was a white male about 49 years old. He apparently had been dead 24 to 48 hours.

Robinson would not disclose what kind of weapon was involved but said the victim apparently was killed at the railroad yard.
