Hillcrest High School's Bicentennial Team won first place in the "History and Experience of the U.S. Constitution" category of the National High School Bicentennial competition in Washington, D.C.

Beva Hadlock, Thomas Simpson and Frank Serassio were on the winning group. Other team members are Nathan Chatterton, Chad Curtis, Joshua Edson, Colby Engstrum, Lori Hill, Mark Middlemiss, Alesha Mills, Meghan McDonald, Damon Steed, Thomas Taylor, Michael Tenney, Michael Voss and Ryan Warr.Student assistants are Shane Andrews, Monica Bangerter, Shelly Dockstader, Jennifer Hays and Melanie Serassio. Faculty advisors are Susan Malone and Jim Hadlock.
