Pleasant Grove residents will discover the hidden talents of their friends and neighbors Sept. 10 at the Pleasant Grove Community Fair.

The fair will be at the downtown park and Pleasant Grove Recreation Center."The fair is a means of showing off the talents and good works of the people of Pleasant Grove," said Mary West, fair chairwoman.

Featured will be art and handicraft displays, fruit and vegetable displays, a car show, pet show, talent show, quilt show and horse show.

The day will begin with a flag-raising ceremony at 7 a.m., followed by a Lions Club breakfast.

Entries for the art and craft displays, flower, fruit and vegetable shows and quilt show will be accepted at 7 a.m. at the recreation center.

The car show is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the grassy area east of the recreation center. Fair participants will be asked to vote on their favorite car.

The talent show, under the direction of Vicki Young, will be in the park pavilion from 1 to 5 p.m.

The Kiwanis Club will hold an auction during the day to raise money for community projects. The fair will conclude with a street dance outside the center.
