McDonnell Douglas Corp. will hold a series of meetings in May, June and July in an effort to attract more Utah companies to provide goods and services. The company already purchases products and services from 149 Utah companies, but more are wanted.

The supplier symposiums are coordinated by the Utah Procurement Outreach Program in the Utah Division of Business and Economic Development. Businesses interested in participating should call Dick Blair at 538-8792.The symposiums will held May 14 in Richfield; May 29 in Cedar City; May 30 in St. George; June 4 in Ogden; June 6 in Provo; June 12 in Salt Lake City; June 20 in Vernal; June 28 in Logan; and July 10 in Moab.

Some of the items requested by McDonnell Douglas are tool building, hot and cold forming, extrusion work, pre-mixed and frozen sealants and sheet metal work. The company also is interested in business cards, signs, computers, furniture, electric wire and cable, machining, fabricating and motivational seminars.
