Our kind and beloved husband, father and grandfather, Elmer Criss Moosman, age 73, died May 11, 1991 at his home in Bicknell, after a lingering illness.

He was born June 13, 1917 in Teasdale to Edmond Criss and Annie Oteria Coleman Moosman. He was raised by his mother and step father, Conrad Ferry Torgerson. He married Elma DeLeeuw June 26, 1939 in Teasdale. He was a member of the LDS Church. He retired from the U.S. Park Service after 10 years, working at Capitol Reef National Park. He loved to fish and hunt. His hobby was traping.Survivors: wife, Bicknell; children, Mary Ann Bliss, Loa; Foster James and Nancy Moosman, Grand Junction, Colo.; Dixie Brinkerhoff, Bryce, Utah; Talmage and Kyleen Moosman, Bicknell; 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Norma Hatch, Richfield; Lola Lance, Payson; Neldon Torgerson, Richfield; Redell Torgerson, Fredonia, Arizona; and Lavern Torgerson, Coaldale, Colorado. Preceded in death by two granddaughters, Tammy Johnson, and Joy E. Frank; and a brother, LaVar Moosman.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 14, at 1 p.m., in the Thurber LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer-Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Monday evening, 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, at the family home in Bicknell, 294 West 200 North, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Bicknell Cemetery.
