Jay Belsky, a child psychologist, will present two free seminars at the University of Utah on Monday, May 13.
The first seminar, at noon in 320 Alfred Emery Building, is titled "Causes or Consequences of Change in Infant Temperament: Positive and Negative Emotionality.""Day Care and Child Development: Science and Social Policy" will be offered from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Auditorium. The public is invited to both seminars.
Belsky is a professor of human development at Pennsylvania State University. He is a fellow of the American Psychological Association's division of development psychology and recipient of an award for outstanding career contribution in developmental psychology.
The seminars are sponsored by the U.'s family and consumer studies department.
