Beloved husband, dad, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Elbert Palmer, age 87, died May 10, 1991 of complications due to pneumonia.

Born April 1, 1904 in Grantsville, Lutah to Wilford and Penelope Paskett Palmer. Married Alice V. Clark October 27, 1923-later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a high priest in the LDS Church. Ab worked for 28 years at the Granite Planning Mill. He took up the game of golf at the age of 65 and was known on the course as "Little Abner."He believed in walking the 18 holes and hardly ever used a cart until about age 85. Every one loved him, he was quite a character.

He is survived by wife, Alice; children, Roy, Vera, June, Jean and Don; 21 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren; sister, Arvel P. Graham and Verene (Bobby) Laird, and brother, Leroy.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 13, at 12:00 noon, at the Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East. Viewing will be one and a half hours prior to services. Interment at Wasatch Lawn, 3401 South Highland Drive.
