Angelo H. Mahleres, age 64, died May 8, 1991 in Rangley, Colorado.

Born February 26, 1927 in Price, Utah, son of Harry J. Mahleres and Ourania Sampinos. Married Edna Bliss February 5, 1950. Member Greek Orthodox Church. Graduated from Carbon High School in 1954. Served in the U.S. Army, WW II. Attended Carbon Jr. College, played with 1948 Champion Football Team. An outstanding athlete, he received CEU Athletic Hall of Fame Award. Owned and operated Pine Canyon Company which engaged in saw mill and mine timber, and later with his partner, Burt Prichard, Oil Field Salvage in Rangley, Colorado, and Price. Member Rangley Elks Lodge #1907. "May his memory be eternal."Survived by two daughters and one son, Mrs. David (Connie) Hamilton; Nick Mahleres, both Price; Barbara Mahleres, and husband Darren Garrick, Australia; granddaughter, Angela Nichole Hamilton; two brothes, one sister and spouses, John H. and Bessie Mahleres, Mrs. Richard (Sophia) Hayes, both Price; Nick H. and Hellen Mahleres, Grand Junction, Colo.; dear friend, Jaylene Crichlow; and Aunt Litsa Sampinos; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, son, Luther Angelo, and sister, Dea Diamanti.

Funeral services Tuesday, 2 p.m., Greek Orthodox Church. Triasgion prayer service Monday evening 7:30 p.m. at Mitchell Chapel, with Rev. Father Kallinikos Petsas officiating. Friends may call Mitchell Chapel, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, prior to services. Interment, Price City Cemetery.
