With just the outdoor track championships to be decided, Weber State holds the lead in the chase for the Big Sky Conference All-Sports trophy.
The Wildcats have 109 points for men's and women's competition this school year, with men's championships in cross country and tennis and indoor track and tennis for the women.Nevada, with the football championship and 59 points, leads in men's competition and Idaho State and Weber are tied with 64 points each among the women. The Bengals have won only the volleyball championship but finished second in indoor track and tennis.
Montana is the only team close to Weber State in the overall standings, with 102 points. The combined standings for other schools are Boise State and Idaho State 96 each, Montana State and Nevada 83 each, Idaho 75, Northern Arizona 74 and Eastern Washington 44.
In competition for the men's All Sports trophy, Montana is second to Nevada with 53 points, followed by Boise State 49, Idaho 48, Weber State 45, Northern Arizona 42, Idaho State 32 and Eastern Washington 13.
Behind ISU and Weber State, Montana ranks third in women's competition with 49 points, followed by Boise State 47, Montana State 43, Eastern Washington 31, Idaho 27 and Nevada 24.
The male and female winners of next week's outdoor track championships get 16 points each, with the second-place teams earning 13 points.
