The president of the International Olympic Committee, Salt Lake's most important visitor in its quest to host the 1998 Winter Games, is coming back - but not for another look at the state's proposed Olympic facilities.

During the upcoming trip, all Juan Antonio Samaranch and his wife, Bibis, want to see is Frank Sinatra performing at the Salt Palace. The pair were invited to the May 21 concert by Sinatra himself during their official visit here in April. The backers of Salt Lake City's bid didn't miss an opportunity to impress the head of the organization that will choose the site of the Winter Games, either. They sent the couple videotapes of all of Sinatra's movies.

As president of the IOC, Samaranch doesn't vote. But his opinion is expected to sway many members of the IOC when they meet in England next month to choose the location of the 1998 Winter Games.
