Police believe the body of a 31-year-old Salt Lake City woman found Friday morning by an individual traveling to work may have been dumped there earlier in the morning.

Paramedics were sent on a medical call at 9513 S. Bagley Park, which is in a remote industrial park, but called investigators when they arrived and found the body clad only in a brown sweater, said Public Safety Director Ken McGuire.Investigators said there were no wounds or other obvious causes of death observed on the woman's body. The body was taken by the state medical examiner's office, McGuire said.

Police were unsure of the woman's identity for several hours but found identification in a purse located near the body. Her name was being withheld until relatives could be notified.
