Frankie Young Adams, age 76, passed away May 10, 1991.

Born December 3, 1914, Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter of S. Grant and Janet Colclough Young. Married James M. Adams, December 16, 1937 in Ensenada, Mexico. He preceded her in death, April 1, 1974. She was associated with the American Businesswomen's Association. Co-owner, with her husband, of Smith and Adams Tent & Awning Company. In her youth she was an accomplished horsewoman and a Days of '47 Queen. She was a lifelong lover of animals and in her retirement years she devoted much of her time and love to her special little dogs. She often expressed, that in event of her death, that donations be made to the Humane Society in lieu of flowers. The family wishes to express their thanks to Community Nursing Services-Hospice for their time, care and concern, in enabling Frankie to die in peace at her home knowing that her childrens' love and support were there for her.Survivors: son and daughter, Jaime G. Adams and wife Sharon, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Donald (Jorgi) Schindler, Glendora, California; brother, Grant Young, Salt Lake City; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

A brief memorial service will be held Monday, May 13th, at 10 a.m., Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple. Entombment: Salt Lake Mausoleum, 1001 11th Avenue.
