John Nightingale Pike, 85, passed away May 9, 1991 of causes incident to age.

Born March 22, 1906 in Salt Lake City to Edward E. and Louise Jesse England Pike. Married Helen Nelson, April 24, 1931; she preceded him in death May, 1984. Retired April, 1971 as vice president of the First Security Bank of Utah, 4th South office, after 46 years of service. Was affiliated with various banking and civic organizations. President of the Salt Lake Chapter of the American Institute of Banking and member of Robert Morris Associates, Salt Lake Chapter. president of Bonneville Kiwanis Club. Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Salt Lake Chapter, American Red Cross and chairman of the Budget Committee of the United Fund.Survivors: nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Mrs. Malcolm (Geneve) Pike and Mrs. Fred (Ella) Pike.

Graveside service Monday, 12 noon, Salt Lake City Cemetery, 4th Ave. and N St. Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple Sunday, 6-8 p.m. and Monday 11-11:45 a.m.
