Clark Enoch Nay DeLong, age 77, passed away May 9, 1991 in the Allen Memorial Hospital in Moab.

He was born November 8, 1913 in Monroe, Utah to Charles Walter and Mary Ellen Sawyer Nay. His mother died when he was four and he was adopted by Ralph and Martha Heywood DeLong. He married Lula Torgerson, April 16, 1940 in the St. George LDS Temple. They celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary last year. Clark was raised in Panguitch and he graduated from Garfield High School in 1933 and attended school in Logan for one year. He was a rancher in Panguitch. Operated a dairy there until 1952. He then worked for Morrison Knudsen in heavy equipment operation and he came to Moab in 1962 and was involved in railroad construction along the Colorado River to the Potash Plant. He retired in 1970, and worked with his wife in their own realty company.Survived by wife, Lula; children, Clark Burnell, Carma Moore and Olivia DeLong; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; also survived a brother, Maurice Nay, Lemon Valley, Nevada.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 13, 1991 at the LDS Stake Center in Moab at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Panguitch, at 6 p.m. Monday, May 13th.
