Mary Hamilton Stocking, 77, passed away May 8, 1991 at her home in Riverton.
Born July 7, 1913 in Riverton, a daughter of Thomas Mark and Gladys Caroline Reynolds Hamilton. Married Allen Stocking March 27, 1934 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Active member of the LDS Church serving in all the auxiliaries including Relief Society and Primary president; faithful visiting teacher. She shared her sewing and musical talents with many.Survived by her husband, Allen, Riverton; children, Craig and Jolayne Stocking; Jean and Laury Newman; Jan and Wilson Svedin, all Riverton; daughter-in-law, Carol Stocking, South Jordan; Sue and Robert Davis, Holladay; Joan and Don Lybbert, Redmond, Washington; brothers, Owen Hamilton, Sandy; Weston E. Hamilton, Salt Lake City; sister, Ruth Smith, Layton; 25 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her son, Richard and a granddaughter, Adrienne Lybbert.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, in the Riverton Stake Center, 1855 West 13400 South. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Broomhead Funeral Home, 12600 South 2200 West, Riverton, and Monday, one hour prior to services at the church. Interment, Riverton Cemetery.
