Fontella Pectol Webster, age 85, died of natural causes May 8, 1991, in her Salt Lake City home.
Born in Bicknell, Utah, March 15, 1906, to Ephriam Portman and Dorothy Hickman Pectol. She climbed the red rocks of Torrey in her youth, and attended school there. She graduated from BYU and taught school in Lyman, Utah. She married Loren B. Webster, of Loa, Utah, May 10, 1926, in Torrey, Utah; marriage later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. They were married 65 years. Fontella and Loren lived the majority of their lives in Loa as prominent ranchers, and owned a variety of businesses. They were active in civic affairs. She was a member of the LDS Church and served in every auxiliary in various positions. She was an active member of the DUP. She moved to Richfield in 1961 and later moved to Salt Lake City, 1965.Survived by husband, Loren; son, Jim and his wife, JaNeanne, Salt Lake City; grandchildren, Sherman Albrecht, Las Vegas, Nevada; Robert Albrecht, Salt Lake City; KaLene Chavis, Orem; Heidi Angus, Seattle, Washington; Hillary Webster, Jimmy Webster, Alex Webster and Amanda Webster, all Salt Lake City; ten great-grandchildren; sister, DeVonna Hancock, Salt Lake City; Leona Holt, Richfield. Preceded in death by parents, two infant sons, her daughter, Maureen Albrecht Jensen, her sisters, Eleanor Pectol, Florence Covington Weinbrener, Golda Busk, brother, Ephriam.
Graveside services Saturday, May 12, 1991, 4 p.m., Loa Cemetery. Friends may call at Springer-Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, 260 North 400 West, Friday evening 7-9 p.m.
