Since then, CDW has performed choreographies of outstanding Utahns and prominent national dancemakers. Other company members are Gigi Arrington, formerly of Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company, and Janice Haws and Keith Johnson, currently dancing with Ririe-Woodbury. Brent Schnieder of RDT will be a guest performer.Among programmed works is "Found Object," set to music by Chopin by Richard Colton and Amy Spencer. Coulton has performed with Joffrey Ballet, with Twyla Tharp Dance for 13 years, and has guested with Pilobolis. The piece is based on images of the melodramatic heroine, hero and villain of silent films.
Vicki Uris' "Rorshack for Three" will be remounted. Uris spent eight years with the Paul Taylor Dance Company. Trujillo contributes "Structures of Silence," a women's duet, and Debenham has choreographed "Much of the Heart Left Unsaid," for six men, and six figures constructed by Nickle Lauritzen. Keith Johnson adds "Blue Horses," a duet for two men, again with music by Chopin.
