An artist's rendition shows a golden sphere, Spacestation Earth, which could be the dazzling future centerpiece of a planned $3 billion, 470-acre addition to Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif. The highlight of the plan is the WESTCOT Center, which would be a near-duplication of EPCOT - Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow - at the Disney World complex in Orlando, Fla. The announcement comes the same day the California Coastal Commission is expected to discuss a controversial proposed state law that would pave the way for Disney to bypass existing coastal regulations in order to build an earlier-announced Long Beach resort.
