Centurion Mines Corp., Salt Lake City, has announced "significant" developments on a new gold discovery at the Kings Canyon project in Western Utah being explored in joint venture with Crown Resources Corp. of Denver.

A Centurion spokesman said results from 47 reverse circulation drill holes indicate that two of the better holes intersected 100 feet containing .053 ounces gold per ton and 95 feet containing .049 ounces gold per ton.The spokesman said 11 drill holes had intercepts better than .10 ounces gold per ton.

The inferred geologic resource based on drilling to date is estimated at 200,000 ounces of gold. Only 200 acres of the 90,000 acre Kings Canyon property have been drilled so far. The company said some of the best gold mineralization occurs at the outer edges of the drill pattern.
