Twenty Utah volunteers were honored with a Carnation Silver Bowl Award during a recent ceremony. Gov. Norm Bangerter and his wife, Colleen, made the presentation.

It is the 13th time the awards have been presented, in celebration of both National and Utah Volunteer Week, at the end of April. The awards are given to individuals, couples or groups who have given tirelessly of their time and effort to improve the quality of life for their fellow men and community. Special guest was Richard N.
